information. We wanted you to understand why that is. Since ballooning
is a weather dependant activity, pricing can vary from region to region.
Many operators offer specials depending on demand and season of year. To
list all these specials would just add confusion to this online
resource. In many areas you will find several PRO's
(professional ride operators).
Competition between these operators keep pricing at it's best. We have
found pricing to be competitive in each area with pricing varying only
about $5 from operator to operator. Pricing nationwide can be anywhere
from $160 to $225 per person depending on yearly flight weather in that
region. Currently the national average is around $180 per person.
We offer one-hour flights in and around the Great
Smokey Mountains.
We are located just minutes from Asheville, NC. We
fly in one of the best areas for hot air ballooning. The
views you will see from the balloon are spectacular. We
have operated a commercial ride business for 23 years and
also have operated an FAA certified repair station since
1983. We do pilot training and are dealers for Firefly
Balloons. We fly year around, seven days a week (weather
permitting), just after sunrise. We can accommodate up to
7 passengers in our largest balloon. We charge $140/person
with a $50/person deposit required to schedule you on the calendar. We
offer private flights for an additional fee.
