Thank you for your interest in Eastern Connecticut Balloon Services. Hot air ballooning is an opportunity to experience the same sensation as when man first flew in 1783. Unlike a plane, a balloon flight is serene and graceful.

WHEN: Our 'ballooning season' in Eastern Connecticut is usually from April through December. However, we will fly any time of the year if the weather permits. Flights are scheduled twice daily: Sunrise Flights, with lift-off time within one hour after sunrise, and Pre-sunset Flights, with lift-off time being one and a half hours prior to sunset. All flights are wind and weather permitting and may be canceled at any time until launch. Flights will be canceled due to rain, poor visibility, and if winds are forecasted to be greater than 10 mph on the surface, or 20 mph at 3,000 feet. Canceled flights will be rescheduled for another mutually convenient date. Safety is first and foremost in all flight operations.
Balloon rides are approximately one-hour in duration with champagne and a Certificate of First Flight after landing. We have two 5-person balloons operating, 4 passengers and 1 pilot in each balloon. VISA, MasterCard, check and cash are accepted.

RATES:


$225.00 per person (max weights: 1 passenger/250 lbs., 2/400 lbs., 3/550 lbs., 4/700 lbs.)

Private Flights for 1 or 2 passengers can be purchased for $575.00. (Three passengers: $725.00)

Note:
-We fly each hot air balloon with 4 passengers and 1 pilot onboard, unless you purchase a "Private Flight".
-A minimum of 2 passengers is required to schedule a weekday flight.
-There is no CT Sales Tax on our sight-seeing flights.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Hot Air Balloon Flights are by reservation only and require a $50.00 per person deposit to schedule a ride. The balance of your flight is due on the launch field. A deposit will be forfeited if less than a 24-hour notice is given to cancel a scheduled flight. There is a $5.00 per person handling charge on deposit refunds.
