information. We wanted you to understand why that is. Since ballooning
is a weather dependant activity, pricing can vary from region to region.
Many operators offer specials depending on demand and season of year. To
list all these specials would just add confusion to this online
resource. In many areas you will find several PRO's
(professional ride operators).
Competition between these operators keep pricing at it's best. We have
found pricing to be competitive in each area with pricing varying only
about $5 from operator to operator. Pricing nationwide can be anywhere
from $160 to $225 per person depending on yearly flight weather in that
region. Currently the national average is around $180 per person.

Airventure Ballooning invites you to join us aboard one of
our champagne balloon flights and trade in your earth-bound
cares for the most magnificent experience of your life.
Your pilot, a top-ranked FAA professional, will serve as
your personal guide and "host in the air" as the breezes
waltz you across the sky with beautiful downtown Houston as
your backdrop; you will gain an unequalled view and
appreciation of the Space City.
Each flight will last approximately one hour. Following your
flight you will be served a traditional balloonists
champagne brunch where you will be presented with first
flight souvenirs.
Flights take place seven day's a week and are typically
scheduled one time a day. The morning flight takes place
just after sunrise and our meeting time is between
6:00am-7:00am (depending on the time of year). Morning
flights are preferred due to the more suitable weather
conditions needed for ballooning.
